“Chrysopoeia”, from the Greek χρυσοποιία or khrusopoiia, is an ancient alchemical term for transforming raw base materials into gold. The alchemical process is often used as a metaphor for self-actualization and personal growth in psychology, which I feel to be an ideal match - astrology and psychology complimenting and enhancing each other, that is.
I’ve studied astrology intensely for over 20 years now (over half my lifetime!), much of it under the mentorship and guidance of a world renowned master professional astrologer and psychologist of 40+ years. I have a background in studying psychology as well and I take a Jungian-inspired approach to astrological analysis. My work is also informed by that of inspirational great teachers Liz Greene, Glenn Perry, Karen Hamaker-Zondag, Louise and Bruno Huber, Steven Forrest, Howard Sasportas, and of course, my beloved mentor, Vivian Carol (now retired, formerly also known as Vivian Hickman and Vivian Weaver). I strive to be worthy to follow in Vivian’s footsteps and am honored that some of her former clients have chosen to work with me now.

Decades of intensive study in both astrology and psychology
You might be surprised to find just how useful and practical of a tool that astrology can be in understanding and assessing yourself, your life (past, present, and future) and for a number of other purposes.
Alchemy can be shorthand for a dramatic change or metamorphosis. Astrology is one of many tools used by ancient and modern alchemists to gain deeper insight, more self-awareness, and achieving a sense of mastery of yourself and of your life.
When done correctly with precision and generally by someone with years of intensive training and practice, like me, astrology is a valuable tool for self-knowledge and mastery, greater clarity, and insight. I’ve studied intensely for over half my life under the mentorship of a gifted master professional astrologer, and I can help guide and assist you with your own personal Great Work of clarifying and enhancing your life and self so that you too can shine like gold.
My personal method of astrological analysis is strongly inspired by the work of Carl Jung. He used astrology as a tool in his own practice and lectured and wrote about it often. I first learned about his work in depth in my own psychology classes in college, but I was so enthralled by it that I chose to continue exploring it even more on my own, and then even more with my mentor. I’d already been studying astrology seriously (hours of work and research daily) for several years at this point, but when I learned Jung had an affinity for it too and how he connected it to study of the human psyche so skillfully, this combined two of my favorite interests in a way that ignited a fierce passion in me to learn everything I could about both.
